3. BASIC ELEMENTS OF IMAGES
3.2. THE LINE
In the image the line might seem to be the most important element of the photograph (the main character). It might also be formed by the proximity of different dots. It is an imaginary line our mind creates while we are reading the image.
The cars create imaginary lines.

It could be straight or curved:
- Straight or sharp lines and also the oblique ones give us the idea of something dynamic and lively.

- Vertical lines: instability or tension.

- Horizontal lines: calm and balance.

- Curve lines give us the idea of slowness, harmony and softness.
