THEORY OF MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES – PALLETE

INTRODUCTION TO THE PROJECT: WHERE DO YOU LIVE?

wheredoyoulive

The work we are going to develop in the following weeks is related he environment in which we live. We will perform different activities about our city and its architecture so that we can understand the shapes surrounding us and how they are represented.
Being able to appreciate Architecture and being able to know the city we live in allows us to become one with our environment and develop our capacity to be real citizens. Learning to see and represent the shapes around us help us to develop our spatial vision and increase our communicative and information giving skills.

INDEX:
TASK I. GETTING TO KNOW AND THINK ABOUT AVILÉS.
In the first part of this task, we will think about our city bearing in mind which is what we like the most and what we like the least. This way, we will be able to choose our favourite corner in town and we will share it with our classmates.
TASK II. THE SOUND MAP OF AVILÉS.
We will visit the places previously selected and we will record a short track with the sounds of that place to make a sound map of Avilés.
TASK III. ANALYSING THE URBAN SHAPE OF THE CITY BY A PICTORIAL COMPOSITION.
In this task we will study the urban organization of the city: streets, squares, green areas, monuments, etc. The result will be an expressive composition in which we will have worked the city shapes as the basis for a pictorial composition together.
TASK IV. BUILDING A GLASS STAINED WINDOW FOR OUR CLASSROOM WINDOW.
To conclude, we will all work together in the transformation of our city pictorial composition into a glass stained window for our classroom.
